About us
경찰사법대학 경찰학전공은 경찰에 관한 학문의 총체로써 국민의 안전과 사회 공공의 안녕 및 범죄 예방을 위해 현대 사회에서의 경찰의 역할과 효율적이고 건전한 경찰 조직의 형태를 연구한다. 공공의 치안과 더불어 민간경비까지 사회 전반의 치안을 연구 범위로 설정하고 사회 전 영역에 걸쳐서 효과적인 치안정책을 연구한다. 치안 관련이론과 실무, 방법론 등 모든 영역에 걸친 교육과정을 제공함으로써 변화하는 사회에 융합적인 인재 육성을 목표로 교육을 제공한다.
Vision
경찰사법대학 경찰학전공은 역동적으로 변화하는 사회에서 경찰의 역할과 본질의 정립하고 해당 목표를 달성하기 위한 구체적인 경찰 활동의 방법을 연구하여 제시한다. 더불어 건전한 가치관과 투철한 봉사정신을 가진 경찰관 및 공안행정의 인재육성을 위한 최고의 교육적 역량 발휘와 환경을 제공한다. 급변하는 사회에서 치안에 대한 관심 역시 높아지고 있고, 따라서 더욱 전문적인 인력과 정책이 필요해지고 있다. 경찰사법대학 경찰학전공은 이러한 사회 흐름을 먼저 파악하여 연구하고 경찰의 목표에 합치되는 방향을 제시해주는 것을 비젼으로 한다.

| This course intends to provide martial arts training to students aiming to become police officers. It helps them to maintain mental and physical fitness, and acquire practical self defense skills. | ||

The processes and consequences of violence will be deeply discussed in the context of current criminological theory and practice.
